Microsoft Windows 7 launch event
In partnership with Microsoft UK we held the Isle of Man’s official launch of Windows 7 at the Palace Cinema on 19 November. The morning saw an attendance of just over 100 representatives from the Island’s businesses.
Andrew Driver, Partner Technology Advisor at Microsoft walked invited guests through a lecture detailing and demonstrating new features of the Windows 7 operating systems with some testing questions from the more technical members of the party at the end.
The afternoon hosted an educational event for both faculty and students from most of the Islands’ secondary schools and the Isle of Man College with a specially tailored version of the earlier presentation. Microsoft was truly put through its paces with an enthusiastic audience posting some challenging questions.
