Apple Authorised Reseller launch event
We held our official breakfast seminar to launch our new partnership with Apple on Friday 12 March. The event took place at the Palace Cinema, representatives from Apple UK and VMware presented to an invited audience of IT Managers, Directors and representatives from the Island’s businesses.
The event which was held for the business market and aimed to discuss ways of using Apple products for business.
David Butterworth, Managing Director of Skanco Business Systems Ltd said “Many companies on the Island use Apple in their marketing or design departments. With software such as VMware Fusion for the Mac now readily available, Skanco identified an opportunity to offer alternative products which can be integrated into the company’s infrastructure and not just purely for use in their creative departments.”
Opening the event, Mike Hennessey from the Chamber of Commerce enthusiastically welcomed Apple to the Isle of Man and expressed his interest to learn more about the products available. In celebrating their 25th Anniversary later this year, Mike congratulated Skanco and wished them every success for the next 25 years.
